Digital scrapbooking - Alphabet sheet + Giveaway

Hello everyone!

Today's tutorial is all about alphabet sheets. Enjoy the video and read below how to enter the giveaway.

GIVEAWAY

I am giving away the alphabet that you see in the video. You will receive the 3 different versions of the same alphabet: the alphabet without shadow, the alphabet with shadow and the alphabet with filled letters. The files are pngs and are free for your personal use.

To enter the giveaway please post a link to this blog post on your blog or a forum or any other internet medium. Then come back here and leave a comment indicating where you mentioned this post and you are all set. Please do not leave a comment anonymously, because if you win it will be very difficult for me to contact you to send the files.

I will announce the winner Thursday June 7th and send you the zipped files after that. (Please bare with me if I am late, I have a new baby in the house.)

Good luck!

JessicaSprague - Intermediate - Lesson 4

Morning to everyone!

For the final lesson of the series I have a two page layout.

As you can see this is the first time I created a two-page layout. So, one important thing I learned in this lesson was how to work in such a large file, but also how to cut it and save it for printing. In addition, Jessica taught me some useful techniques to help me speed up my scrapbooking time, which included:

  • copy layers
  • copy layers with the same text settings
  • keyboard shortcuts
Yet again the journaling is missing.........but I know you'll forgive me!

I think this will be last of my classes that I will add to the blog, even though I also took Jessica's advance classes. Instead, I will publish my freebie digital files every Wednesday. Creating 4 posts a week, editing  the photos and creating all  free files, takes a lot of time and I think you more interested in the freebies than in my progress with my class. Maybe I will just add the layouts as random posts.

Enjoy the rest of the week! Leave a comment, I promise I do not bite!

Color inspiration 11

It's Monday again, so it's time for another color inspiration.

This color combination is very spring inspired, perfect for an Easter related layout. The colors are soft and delicate, suitable to compliment a spring theme.

Lamps part 1- Free digital files

Hello everyone!

Another Sunday means I have a new freebie for you. This time it's different types of lamps. These are very versatile and can be used in different themed layouts, including first day at school or a teacher related layout.

Here is the first part of the package, next week I have part two.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Please read before downloading: These files are for personal use only, they are not perfect but they are free. The zip contains png, jpg and svg versions of the images. I only have a very very old Cricut machine, so I've tested the files with my ancestral SCAL and Cricut and they worked fine.I understand that Silhouette users can use the png file and covert it to their specific type. Send some love to the designer before downloading and please credit me for my creation. Without your support I won't be able to keep creating my designs.

Family expanding

Yesterday we welcomed a new member into our family, a new baby girl, so there won't be a new tutorial today.

I will be back next week with another tutorial and a GIVEAWAY, probably a bit of an airhead from all the lack of sleep.

Enjoy your week, I am off to enjoy my new baby.

JessicaSprague lessons - Intermediate - Lesson 3

Hello all!

Here is another lesson from my Jessica Sprague class.

Here is my contribution and what new techniques I learned:

  • create a rounded corner square clipping mask
  • create a scalloped edge
  • change the color of a swirl accent
  • add the finishing touches to a ribbon
Yet again I have to praise Jessica's class. I just love it!! I like her style, the pace of the class and her explanations are clear, concise and easy to understand.

See you next time!

I thought we would move from the wardrobe department to something just as interesting. I enjoy seeing the different bedding sets they have on this website. I love how colorful they are, especially this one:
